The Awrah Shorts

We carefully selected a blend of polyester-elastane for our Awrah shorts, to maximize comfort and performance in the water. Natural fibers like cotton absorb water, lose shape, and dry slowly. Everything you want to avoid for swimwear.

Our Awrah cover shorts use a premium polyester-elastane blend to ensure they hold their shape wet or dry, resist chlorine and saltwater breakdown, and stretch with movement instead of restricting it.

The abdominal part of the legging has a reinforced layer to offer a gentle compression, which helps flatten the silhouette, in addition to keeping the Awrah cover in place, even when you dive into the water.

Is this a Halal swim suit?
Yes, the Awrah Shorts are built specifically for men who want swimwear that covers the Awrah, from navel to knee, without compromising on function or style.
We use quick-dry, opaque fabric and a secure fit so coverage holds up whether you're doing laps or relaxing at the beach.

How is this different from regular swim shorts?
Standard swim shorts are cut above the knee and aren't designed with modesty in mind. Even long board shorts fail to cover the area between the waistband and the navel.
The Awrah Shorts use a two-layer construction (an outer short paired with an inner legging) for consistent coverage even during active movement.
It's a modest swim short built for Muslim men who want the same freedom of movement as regular swimwear.

Can I wear this at the pool and the gym?
Yes. The fabric is designed to dry quickly and hold its shape in and out of the water, so it works for swimming, beach days, or general active wear where modest coverage matters. It is also chlorine-resistant.
For high-intensity sports, we do recommend our upcoming sportswear collection instead, as it’s made with a fabric better-suited for intense activities.

Are the two layers attached together?
Yes, the outer shorts and the inner leggings are attached together and cannot be separated.

Does it come with a mesh net?
No separate mesh liner. The inner legging does that job instead, protecting your modesty, keeping you comfortable and reducing the risk of chafing.
You can wear a boxer underneath or go without, depending on your preferences.
